A new blog

Three years ago the miniature bug bit me and I got my first doll house. I have learned a lot over the years and I continue to learn with every new project. I wanted to share my passion and creations with other miniaturists, I have learnt a lot from fellow doll house bloggers and hope I have something good to share with other hobbyists.

I thought I would just start off with a post about a book I bought recently its called Making Upholstered Furniture in 1/12 Scale by Janet Storey. I hope to write a review once I have made a few more of the items in the book, but for now I thought I would share my pictures of the first project a bolster back chair.

The chair is very cute and easy to make there is nothing too advanced or complicated I think anyone could successfully attempt this. My chair will be going into a cottage bedroom. It still looks nice without the bolster and it could be easily adapted to fit any room. I hope you enjoyed my pictures, I am currently working on the next project in the book.
